About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent who is not only skilled in managing projects but also willing to work alongside the crew when needed. This role is ideal for someone who understands the full building process and has hands-on experience in framing, finish carpentry, and general construction. The right candidate will be comfortable traveling to various job sites and leading teams to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily job site operations and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and project timelines
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and safety on all job sites
- Perform hands-on work when necessary, including framing, finish carpentry, and general construction tasks
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and building codes
- Communicate regularly with project managers, owners, and subcontractors
- Solve problems quickly and keep projects moving forward efficiently
- Maintain job site organization and documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or Lead Carpenter
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Framing
- Finish carpentry
- Basic Concrete
- General construction methods
- Job site layout and coordination
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years in construction with/without supervisory experience
- Experience managing multi-trade construction projects
