Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cabinet Maker / Woodworker located in Livermore, CA. The Cabinet Maker / Woodworker will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications, building, and installing custom cabinetry and millwork. Daily tasks include measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing wood to create high-quality furniture and fixtures according to project specifications. The role also involves collaborating with other team members, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring that all finished products meet the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Carpentry, Cabinetry, and Woodworking
- Experience in Millwork and Spatial Design is a plus, but not required
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Familiarity with woodworking tools, machinery, and safety protocols
- Prior experience in custom cabinet making or related fields
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training are a plus
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install custom cabinetry and woodwork
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines with high-quality results
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of cabinetry manufacturing or custom woodworking experience
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishes
- Ability to read shop drawings and cut lists
- Familiarity with woodworking machinery and tools
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality craftsmanship
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $24 – $31 per hour, depending on experience
