Experienced Buyer’s Agent

If you are a seasoned East Bay agent who would rather spend a Tuesday afternoon showing homes to clients and untangling a disclosure package than dialing expired listings or chasing unqualified Zillow leads, this position provides the ideal next step for your background.  This role is designed specifically for an agent whose strengths lie in client relationships, contract strategy, risk management, and execution, not cold prospecting.

Instead of chasing lead generation, you will step into a stable infrastructure where you run transactions, manage overflow business, and serve as a mentor for future buyers agents.

• Direct Pipeline: Our Lead agent generates more buyer business, open house traffic, and referral overflow than she can personally service. You would support these active clients.
• Operational Leverage: We work with low cost transaction coordination and marketing is handled by our team. We have systematized our workflows for efficiency. Your time is spent strictly on advisory, files, and strategy.
• Compensated Leadership: Your split reflects the seniority of this role, coupled with a structure that rewards you for the performance of the junior agents you mentor.

• High-Level Advisory: Step in as the primary advisor for warm clients handed down by the Lead Agent—managing the transaction flawlessly from the initial consultation and appraiser-standard comps to final contingency removals and close of escrow.
• Contract Authority: Act as the second set of eyes for our team’s files. Review deep disclosure packages, catch vague contingency language, and troubleshoot unique escrow hurdles before they go sideways.

• Experienced agent in the Berkeley, Oakland, Lamorinda market with at least 8 successful buy side transactions.
• You have an active California license and a minimum of two years.
• You understand the nuances of local POS ordinances, you know the RPA inside and out, and you have a natural instinct for collaboration. 
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.  We value contract judgment over sales volume. Sales polish can be trained; judgment about a poorly written counteroffer cannot.
