Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to promote economic development initiatives aligned with community goals.
- Lead business development efforts by identifying prospective clients and partners, expanding the client base, and closing deals that benefit the region.
- Foster strong relationships with local government agencies, business leaders, and community organizations to facilitate collaborative projects.
- Oversee marketing strategies to attract new investments, including leveraging Salesforce Cloud and CRM software for targeted outreach.
- Manage cross-functional teams involved in project management, client communication, and stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Conduct prospecting activities to identify emerging opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects.
- Monitor industry trends, analyze market data, and prepare reports to inform strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development management with a focus on economic or regional development.
- Strong proficiency with Salesforce CRM system, Salesforce Cloud platforms, and other CRM software tools.
- Demonstrated success in deal closing, sales negotiation, and enterprise selling techniques.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Expertise in strategic planning, project management, and team leadership within a fast-paced environment.
