About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Oracle EBS Manufacturing Developer to design, build, and support solutions across Oracle E-Business Suite manufacturing modules. You will work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and plant operations teams to translate manufacturing requirements into reliable, well-tested technical solutions. This is a hands-on senior role: you will own technical design, mentor junior developers, and act as the go-to person for complex EBS manufacturing customizations and integrations.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) across Oracle EBS manufacturing modules including Work in Process (WIP), Bills of Material (BOM), Inventory (INV), Cost Management (CST), and Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Build and maintain custom applications and extensions using Oracle Forms, OA Framework, PL/SQL, and Oracle Application Framework personalization’s.
- Develop and support inbound/outbound integrations between EBS and third-party systems (shop floor, MES, WMS, PLM, and supplier portals) using PL/SQL APIs, Oracle Integration, web services, and file-based interfaces.
- Create and tune reports and data extracts using concurrent programs, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher (XML Publisher), and SQL/PLSQL packages.
- Perform performance tuning of complex PL/SQL, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize SQL for high-volume manufacturing transactions.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements, prepare technical design documents (MD.070), and support testing cycles (SIT, UAT).
- Follow SDLC and change-management processes across environments, manage code migrations, and support patching, cloning, and period-close activities.
- Troubleshoot and provide production support, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes for manufacturing-related incidents.
- Lead junior developers and provide code reviews, technical guidance, and mentoring.
On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 8 years of hands-on Oracle EBS development experience (R12 / 12.1 / 12.2).
- Strong functional understanding of EBS Manufacturing modules: WIP, BOM, INV, CST, and Order Management (OM); exposure to MES, ASCP, or Discrete/Process Manufacturing.
- Expert-level PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher / XML Publisher.
- Deep experience with the RICEW development lifecycle and standard Oracle APIs / interface tables.
- Solid knowledge of OA Framework, AOL (Application Object Library), concurrent processing, and Workflow.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate manufacturing business processes into technical solutions.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to work with cross-functional and plant-based teams.
We’d Be Excited If You Also Have:
- Power BI experience — building interactive reports and dashboards for manufacturing KPIs, production metrics, and operational reporting.
- Familiarity with data modeling, DAX, and connecting Power BI to Oracle data sources.
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud (Fusion) SCM/Manufacturing, or migration experience from EBS to Cloud.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST/SOAP web services.
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodology and manufacturing shop-floor operations.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for database and EBS code.
