Role Overview

The HR Operations Administrator plays a critical role in keeping Calfus’s day-to-day operations running smoothly. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of operational tasks that support both employees and leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Office & Facilities Management

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, supplies, vendors, and facilities
  • Coordinate office maintenance, internet, utilities, and equipment
  • Ensure a well-organized, productive, and welcoming office environment

Administrative Support

  • Support leadership with scheduling, meeting coordination, and documentation
  • Manage internal communications
  • Maintain office records, policies, and procedures

HR & People Operations Support

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Support HR documentation
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and office events

Finance & Procurement Support

  • Handle invoices, expense tracking, and vendor payments
  • Support procurement of software subscriptions, hardware, and office supplies
  • Assist finance team with basic reporting and documentation

Travel & Logistics

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel and accommodation
  • Manage logistics for client visits, internal events, and offsites


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree is required, prefer to be in Administration or HR field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Office Administration, Operations & Human Resources.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in excel.


Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a tech startup or high-growth company
  • Basic understanding of finance or payroll processes

Compensation

Salary range (Washington residents only): $45,000 – $55,000 per year. Compensation is based on factors such as education, experience, and certifications.
