Currently, we are seeking dedicated coaches and assistant coaches to join our team. This part-time position involves teaching pickleball and tennis to elementary school children, managing classes, and creating a positive and engaging learning environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:Class Management:Can manage a class size of 8 - 16 students with ages ages 5-10 years oldTeach the pickleball/tennis class using provided lesson plans.Training and Preparation:Attend a two-day training/shadowing session to familiarize yourself with the program.Transport tennis equipment to and from class and set up the necessary equipment.Administrative Tasks:Take attendance, sign in, and sign out students for each class.Interact with parents and school office staff as necessary.Provide feedback for each student by the end of the session.Documentation:Capture a few pictures each session of kids in action.Requirements:Must be 19 years old upon application submission.Previous teaching or playing experience in pickleball or tennis is preferred but not required.USPTA/PTR certification is preferred but not required.Enjoy working with kids and possess effective classroom management skills.Flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and a professional, enthusiastic approach.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Resilient, positive attitude.Must have the ability to work independently and within a small team.Must have own car and valid driver's license to use at workWillingness to undergo a live scan background check and TB test before working.Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports.Locations:Programs are offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area. Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.We do have other Programs like Yoga, Soccer, PE, Pickleball, Volleyball, Basketball, Floor Hockey and Dance. Youre welcome to apply to any of these as well.Schedule:Classes are 1 - 1.5 hours long, starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
