Meat Cutter Supervisor/Manager

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat products to meet customer demands and ensure the highest quality standards. Your expertise in meat cutting production and handling will contribute significantly to our commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knives and other cutting tools to accurately cut, trim, and package meat products according to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area, adhering to all food safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat products and offering recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely preparation of meat cuts for packing.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality control throughout the production process.

Experience

• Previous experience in whole carcass meat cutting is preferred, ideally within the meat industry or slaughterhouse setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Proficiency with knives and other equipment used in meat processing is required.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of work.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service.
