Elementary Paraeducator - Long Term Sub

Danville School is a vibrant and inclusive school dedicated to providing a high-quality education to students in grades PK-12. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Academic Elementary Paraeducator to join our vibrant team. This is a temporary position with an anticipated end date of January 30, 2026.Responsibilities: - Collaborate with classroom teachers to support instructional activities.- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with a variety of needs.- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.- Support classroom management and create a positive learning environment.- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds.- Assist in preparing instructional materials and resources.Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or relevant coursework is a plus.- Previous experience working with elementary school students.- Understanding of and ability to implement instructional strategies.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Patience and flexibility in working with diverse student needs.- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members.Danville School is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
