- Provide light housekeeping duties including cleaning personal spaces, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic environment.
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to safely assist with mobility and transfers.
- Engage clients in social activities or therapeutic exercises to promote mental well-being and social interaction.
- Document care provided accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred but not required.
- Certification in CPR is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required; familiarity with Hoyer lifts or similar equipment is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams, patients, and families.
