We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Leadman Electrician with a strong background in EMS/HVAC Controls to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems with a focus on building automation and HVAC control systems. This position requires thorough knowledge of electrical codes, HVAC control wiring, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality, code-compliant installations in commercial, industrial, and institutional environments.
Being able to travel out of town and work overtime is a must.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and test control wiring for HVAC systems, including sensors, actuators, and control panels
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documents related to HVAC control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control issues in HVAC equipment and building automation systems
- Coordinate with HVAC technicians, controls engineers, and project managers to ensure timely and accurate installations
- Install electrical conduits, switchgear, breakers, and panels according to NEC and local codes
- Assist with commissioning of HVAC control systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical and HVAC control systems to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of work performed, including redlines and as-builts
- Provide input during planning and design phases to improve efficiency and constructability of control systems
- Ability to communicate with customers/clients in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work, including EMS/HVAC controls
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Familiarity with common BAS platforms (e.g., Trane, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Valid Journeyman's License in TX & NM is a PLUS.
