Facilities Technician - Maintenance

Job Overview
Individuals will work closely with the Facilities Supervisor to maintain and repair the building systems and equipment for the school. In addition, this individual will support the activities of other teams within the Facilities Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Knowledge of and experience overseeing cleaning procedures, general repairs, building maintenance, and safety/security.
- Assist with event set up/break down and other tasks and duties assigned by the Facility and/or Operations Manager.
- Guidance and coordination of on-site contractors, as needed.
- Opening, supervising, and closing the facility for rentals, special programs, and athletic events.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of facility operations such as environmental control systems, fire alarms, water, classroom setups, and program support.
- Assist with the maintenance and oversight of school-owned equipment and vehicles.
- Awareness of and participation in providing campus security/safety.
- Valid NC driver’s license.
- Committed Christian, having a lifestyle that reflects Biblical principles.
- Mature, dependable, self-directed, and honest.
- Good interpersonal skills to appropriately interact with students, staff, parents, and the community.
Compensation
Full-time, hourly pay, based on experience. Includes benefit package options.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
