We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various carpentry tasks, contributing to projects that may include residential and commercial construction, renovations, and restorations.
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced carpenters in performing tasks Framing, Door Hanging, Drywall, Cabinet Installation etc
- Help in reading and interpreting schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
- Support the fabrication of wooden structures and components according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, demonstrating effective communication skills.
Requirements
- A strong desire to learn and develop carpentry skills; prior experience is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with framing and carpentry is helpful.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks; ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and take direction from experienced carpenters.
