Calculated Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber for a commercial new construction project. This role involves installing copper and pex piping systems in a new construction environment. Candidates must have prior experience with commercial plumbing installations.
**This position is in Bessemer, AL**
Responsibilities:
- Install copper and pex piping according to commercial plumbing specifications and blueprints
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install copper piping systems for new construction projects
- Perform soldering/brazing and ensure proper pipe connections and fittings
- Work from blueprints, schematics, and jobsite instructions
- Coordinate with other trades to maintain project timelines
- Follow all OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Proven commercial plumbing experience in new construction environments
- Experience installing large-diameter copper piping
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plumbing diagrams
- Knowledge of commercial plumbing codes and standards
- Ability to work full shifts in a physically demanding construction environment
- Reliable transportation to the jobsite
- Own basic plumbing hand tools preferred
Work Schedule:
- 6 AM – 2:30 PM - Monday - Friday
- Overtime may be available depending on project need
