The Role:
Our client is actively searching for an experienced Recruiter who knows how to find and land great talent, with a primary focus on mortgage servicing roles such as Cash Posting Specialists, Loss Mitigation Specialists, Foreclosure Specialists, Title Curative Specialists, and more.
In this role, you will own the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding. You will serve as both a strategic partner to your hiring leaders and a champion for the candidate experience.
Their recruiters are more than just recruiters; they are brand ambassadors in the market. You will build meaningful relationships, continuously look for ways to improve how we hire, and guide leaders in making smart, long-term hiring decisions that set their teams up for success.
How you will contribute:
- Research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent, including both active and passive candidates
- Own and drive all phases of the recruitment process from intake through offer
- Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand team dynamics, define success profiles, and ensure alignment on hiring criteria
- Collaborate on creating and refining job descriptions so they are clear, compelling, and reflective of the actual work
- Identify and implement recruiting strategies that align to the role, industry expectations, and business needs
- Support job posting and advertising efforts to ensure roles are positioned effectively in the market
- Coordinate and schedule interviews while helping prepare hiring teams with questions, materials, and guidance
- Actively participate in the interview process, partnering with leaders and stakeholders to assess talent
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers, ensuring clear, proactive communication at every stage, including when a candidate is not selected
- Create and maintain high quality candidate pipelines through consistent outreach, including email campaigns, social media, networking, cold calling, and ATS engagement
- Collaborate with peers and leaders to identify new or underutilized talent pools and sourcing strategies
- Extend offers and support compensation conversations as authorized
- Effectively manage multiple open roles by setting clear expectations with hiring leaders and adjusting strategies based on market feedback
- Operate in a fast-paced environment while meeting recruiting goals tied to quality, speed, and candidate experience
- Support the broader success of the recruiting function by contributing to reporting, assisting with vendor coordination, and helping evolve policies and processes that make our team more effective
- Jump in on additional recruiting projects and initiatives as needed
Skills you will bring:
- Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System, Workday strongly preferred
- Proven experience recruiting within mortgage servicing, financial services, insurance, or similar industries
- A strong sourcing mindset with experience building pipelines beyond inbound applicants
- The ability to use data and insights to continuously refine and improve your recruiting approach
- Working knowledge of hiring regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor your message to different audiences and create a high-touch candidate experience
- A results driven mindset with a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and follow through
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- The ability to quickly build trust and credibility with candidates, hiring leaders, peers, and partners
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-moving, high-volume recruiting environment
- A genuine passion for connecting with people, networking, and building relationships across a variety of channels and communities
- High School diploma or GED required
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
