Day to Day:

• This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in media relations, content creation, event support, and project management, working closely with the Director of Public Relations and cross-functional partners.
• Draft press materials including releases, media alerts, and briefing documents.
• Assist with proactive media outreach and respond to journalist inquiries.
• Create and edit PowerPoints and presentations for multiple levels of the organization.
• Draft LinkedIn copy and support with various social media requests.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports summarizing brand mentions, trends, and PR campaign performance.
• Respond to a wide variety of requests for information, policies and procedures, and executive action.
• Support SVP, Investor & Public Relations and direct team on ad hoc requests for PowerPoint / graphics.
• Coordinate event participation, planning, and logistics.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for PR events, sponsorships, and community initiatives.
• Coordinate vendor and agency partners to ensure successful execution of campaigns.
• Track deliverables, timelines, and budgets under the direction of the Director, PR.

Must Haves:

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in public relations or related field.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
• High degree of tact, diplomacy, confidentiality, and discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Works well as part of a team or independently.
• Strong computer skills required. Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Powerpoint
• Ability to prioritize and work diligently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of media landscape
