The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive project leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced retail environment, managing ambiguity, escalating issues appropriately, and communicating effectively with both technical teams and senior business leadership. Experience with e-commerce platform migrations, digital transformation, or large-scale technology implementations is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

- Proactively identify project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies and maintain a comprehensive RAID log.
- Develop mitigation and contingency plans in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.
- Escalate critical risks, blockers, and timeline concerns with clear recommendations and potential impacts.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies between technical and business workstreams to prevent delays and ensure coordinated execution.
- Monitor project health and identify emerging concerns before they impact major milestones or the overall go-live timeline.
Scope & Change Management
- Monitor project scope and ensure changes are appropriately documented, assessed, and communicated.
- Facilitate the established change management and governance process for project-level changes.
- Evaluate the potential impact of scope changes on timelines, resources, dependencies, and project objectives in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.
- Maintain clear documentation of key decisions, assumptions, approvals, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing, UAT & Go-Live
- Coordinate project planning and execution for system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Partner with technical and business teams to establish testing milestones, dependencies, readiness criteria, and timelines.
- Track testing progress, outstanding issues, and business readiness to ensure key milestones remain on schedule.
- Coordinate cutover planning across technical, business, and operational stakeholders.
- Support go-live readiness reviews and ensure critical dependencies and action items are clearly documented and addressed.
- Facilitate post-launch activities, including issue tracking, stabilization, lessons learned, and transition to ongoing operational ownership.
Project Governance & Reporting
- Maintain core project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, dependency trackers, decision logs, meeting materials, status reports, and leadership updates.
- Establish consistent project management processes, templates, reporting structures, and best practices that can be leveraged across future digital initiatives.
