Inside Sales Representative (Logistics/Trucking)
Summary
We are seeking a motivated and resilient Inside Sales Representative to join our client’s fast-paced logistics team. This role focuses on high-volume outbound calling with warm leads to reconnect with previous customers to generate business and schedule shipments. The ideal candidate is energetic, coachable, and comfortable working in a performance-driven, phone-based environment.
Responsibilities
• Conduct approximately 100 outbound calls per day
• Re-engage previous customers and rebuild business relationships
• Generate and qualify opportunities and pass shipments to the dispatch team for scheduling
• Maintain relationships with customers once accounts are re-established
• Handle inbound calls as needed
• Track and document all activity in CRM systems
• Collaborate closely with dispatch to ensure successful load scheduling
• Work onsite daily in a team-oriented, high-energy environment
Qualifications
• Previous customer-facing or sales experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with a confident phone presence
• Ability to handle rejection and maintain persistence
• Coachable with a willingness to learn and grow
• Comfortable working in a high-volume call environment
• Logistics or trucking experience is a plus, but not required
• High school diploma or GED required
