Job Overview:
The Senior Accountant is a full-time position with typical hours on Monday-Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
This is a 100% in-person position based in Little Rock, AR.
Essential Functions:
- Process payroll for bi-weekly employees.
- Enter new hires’ information into the payroll system so they can clock in, accrue the proper amount of PTO, and be paid accordingly.
- Monitor and analyze expenses.
- Maintain the general ledger, including posting journal entries, accruals, and monthly reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for operations and administrative expenses.
- Prepare cash flow reports.
- Provide schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve internal controls, and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Prepares, reviews, and analyzes monthly financial statements.
- Ensure day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, cash receipts and accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and payroll are recorded properly.
- Ensure proper revenue and expense recognition.
- Monitor cash and investment balances and perform cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure all finance and accounting operations comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and federal and state laws and regulations.
- Communicate regularly with the Controller to assist with any issues as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
