Door-to-Door Internet Outreach – Madera County
Cal.Net is helping roll out free and subsidized high-speed Internet to Madera County residents through a county-backed program—and we’re hiring bilingual door-to-door reps to make it happen.
This job is more than just canvassing—you’ll go door-to-door, speak directly with families, and set appointments for home Internet installations. You’ll earn a base hourly wage plus bonuses for every completed install.
Pay Structure:
– $16.50/hour base pay
– $40 bonus per completed Internet install
– $45 bonus if the customer also gets TV or Phone
– $60 bonus for customers who sign up for Internet TV Phone (Triple Play)
Top reps are averaging $20–$30 per hour with bonuses included.
Your Responsibilities:
– Knock doors in Madera County neighborhoods
– Speak with residents in both English and Spanish
– Explain how the County is covering Internet costs for qualifying households
– Set appointments for free home surveys
– Help your community get connected to reliable, high-speed service
Requirements:
– Spanish-speaking is a must (bilingual English/Spanish required)
– Must be confident, friendly, and comfortable knocking on doors
– 18 with reliable transportation
– Able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
– Strong communicator with a community-first attitude
