ABOUT THE ROLE
Cal.net is a local wireless internet service provider (WISP) serving rural Northern California communities. We are looking for motivated, people-first sales representatives to join our growing team and bring reliable internet access to residents who need it most.
In this role, you will obtain new customers in residential environments through professional, face-to-face interaction with residents, property management groups, and other referral sources. This is a door-to-door, in-person position — it takes a certain kind of person to thrive here, but for those who do, the earning potential is exceptional.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Engage residents directly through door-to-door outreach in assigned territories
- Build relationships with property managers and community referral sources
- Educate prospective customers on Cal.net’s internet plans, related services and value
- Close new residential service agreements on-site
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Represent the Cal.net brand professionally in the field
COMPENSATION
Base Hourly Rate
$16.90 per hour
Actual hourly pay may vary based on relevant skills, experience, geographic location, and overall qualifications.
Targeted commission (at full attainment)
$25,000
Uncapped, with significant upside for overachievers
The stated hourly rate represents the low end of the hiring range. Actual compensation may fall above this rate depending on experience, skills, geographic area and demonstrated capabilities.
Additional bonus, incentive, and commission opportunities may apply.

- Comfortable with face-to-face, cold-approach sales environments
- Self-motivated with the drive to work independently in the field
- Strong communicator — clear, confident, and approachable
- Resilient and competitive; you don't quit after a tough door
- Prior door-to-door, direct sales, or field sales experience is not required
- Spanish language capability a plus
