The Feed Mill Management Trainee position is an entry-level supervisory position through which the Trainee will focus on development of managerial and professional skills at a commercial feed mill facility. Teamwork and customer service skills are vitally important as the Trainee works directly and indirectly with employees, supervisors, and managers.

Responsibilities
- Supervisory responsibilities, in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, include planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Trainee will enthusiastically pursue, and be flexible to, learning & experience in multiple areas such as:
- Organizing feed deliveries, feed blending, and delivery truck loading.
- Checking feed formulas for correct ingredients.
- Testing samples and weighing ingredients.
- Sampling outgoing feed.
- Ensuring proper inventories.
- Operating the grain dryer.
- Maintaining rodent and insect collection.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) in management or poultry science from a four-year college or university, or four to ten years related experience and/or training is required for this position.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- A valid driver’s license and forklift certificate may be required for this position.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
