Job Overview
We are currently hiring Manufacturing Laborers to join our team in Bethel, CT. This position involves a variety of general labor and production responsibilities within a manufacturing environment. We are seeking dependable, motivated individuals who are committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Duties
- Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Support the setup and breakdown of production lines, ensuring all machinery runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, production quantities, and safety checks.
- Perform additional labor and production tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Ability to operate forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery.
- Familiarity with assembly line procedures and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform manual tasks as needed. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
