Duties
- Greet guests and visitors warmly, establishing a friendly and professional atmosphere from the moment they arrive
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing accurate information and directing calls appropriately
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue opportunities
- Conduct product demos or showcase available amenities to guests when applicable
- Maintain the front desk area by merchandising promotional materials and ensuring it remains tidy and inviting
- Stock supplies, manage inventory levels, and assist with merchandising efforts to keep the front area well-organized
- Process transactions accurately, including cash handling, retail sales, and basic math calculations for billing purposes
- Assist with supervising team members or trainees when needed, supporting a collaborative work environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Excellent phone etiquette skills for handling inquiries professionally over the phone
- Ability to upsell products or services tactfully to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Experience in merchandising, stocking shelves, or managing inventory in a retail or grocery store setting is advantageous
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
