What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at Cajun Kitchen Cafe?
Cajun Kitchen Café on Calle Real is looking for a new energetic team member to take on the Cashier role and join our Goleta Team.
The position is for a friendly ambitious candidate who is looking to develop into a key part of our Goleta team. Advancements in other roles are possible, depending on the progress of the individual's skill.
The schedule
The shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Compensation
- $16.50 per hour tips.
- A daily meal allowance during your shifts.
- 25% discount on your days off at any of our cafes.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be 18 years old
- Food Handlers Card
- RBS Certification
Responsibilities of the position are, but are not limited to:
- Welcome and greet dining guests.
- Navigate and enter (online, delivery, & phone) orders on our POS systems.
- Empty and take out the station's trash.
- Maintain and clean work areas.
- Cash out and take payments.
- Learn & memorize the menu and the restaurant seating arrangement.
This position has a set schedule during the week. Candidates with availability after 9 am will not be considered for the position.
Experience will be highly preferred, but optional.
