Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist servers with food running duties as needed, supporting excellent guest service
- Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including clearing dishes, wiping down tables, and organizing utensils and condiments
- Support food safety protocols by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow
- Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas during shift changes or special events
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with bussing, food running, or banquet service enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for providing outstanding guest services
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is most important
- Hotel or hospitality industry experience can be beneficial in understanding guest expectations
