Job Summary:
The Housing Coordinator supports the Housing Manager in the daily administrative and operational functions of Cairn Recovery Resources' housing programs. This role is responsible for managing housing-related documentation, coordinating transportation schedules for residents, maintaining organized records, and assisting with communication between housing staff and other departments. The Housing Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring housing operations run efficiently and residents receive the logistical support needed to maintain housing stability and participate in treatment and recovery services.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Maintain and organize housing documentation, including resident files, incident reports, housing agreements, and program records.
- Assist the Housing Manager with administrative tasks related to housing operations and program coordination.
- Ensure housing documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Track and maintain records related to resident housing placements, move-ins, and discharges.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits, reviews, or program reporting.
Transportation Coordination:
- Manage transportation scheduling for housing residents, including appointments, treatment services, and program-related activities.
- Coordinate transportation requests with drivers, housing staff, and clinical teams to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Maintain transportation logs and scheduling records.
- Communicate schedule updates or changes to residents and staff as needed.
Program Support:
- Assist with monitoring housing program documentation to ensure compliance with program guidelines and organizational policies.
- Provide administrative support related to housing program operations and resident services.
- Support housing staff with documentation needs and administrative processes.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Experience in administrative support, housing programs, behavioral health, or social services preferred.
- Experience working with individuals in recovery or in a substance abuse treatment setting preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple schedules and tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential records.
Certifications/Licensures:
- CDCA license or higher required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Work Environment:
- Office-based with occasional travel to housing facilities or community sites.
- Regular communication with housing staff, residents, and other departments.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
