About the Role
This opportunity is based at our Women’s Treatment Center in Columbus, Ohio. Cairn Recovery Resources offers comprehensive support for individuals navigating substance use challenges, including outpatient services, intensive outpatient programming, case management, and transitional housing options.
Clinical Counselor Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining good working relationships with support networks, government resources, community resources, and community partners in establishing relationships and referrals
- Maintain a caseload for individual clients
- Run Groups Daily
- Complete clinical documentation; treatment plans and diagnostic assessments.
- Ensures all documentation is up to date
- Work with clinical director on delegation of answering staff and client questions
- Reports to Clinical Director and executive team
- Assists in conducting tours for community partners and referrals
- Becomes the model clinician and brand ambassador
- Attends court treatment meetings if needed and complies with any and all judicial requirements in the form of advocacy for clients
Counselor Requirements and Qualifications
- Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and community resources
- Excellent time management skills; organized and able to prioritize
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful enviornment
- Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, schedules, dates, and information
- Calm and cool-headed with a positive attitude
- Self-directed and self-motivated
- Comfortable with building personal relationships and dedicated to helping others
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDCII, LCDCII or LICDC
Cairn is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (for Mental Health & Substance Abuse).
