What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Construction & Agriculture Class A Truck Driver position at Cain Trucking Incorporated?
We have immediate openings for experienced Local Class A Construction and Agriculture Drivers to join our growing team. If you have experience operating bottom dumps, transfer, super 10, super tags, side dumps, end dumps, belt trailers or flatbeds and take pride in maintaining your equipment as much as we do, we want to hear from you. These available positions are in Tulare, CA, but serve projects across Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno, and Madera Counties, offering a positive culture with a safety-first team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Operation: Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles including (Bottom Dumps, Transfers, End Dumps, Side Dump, Supers 10's, Super Tags, Belt Trailers, Flatbeds ) to deliver various materials to and from the job sites.
- Equipment Care: Maintain high standards of equipment cleanliness and care, performing thorough pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure on-time deliveries and pickups while strictly adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Specialized Construction Loading & Unloading: Manage specialized loading and unloading processes for asphalt, aggregates, dirt, and other construction materials, for safe loading and unloading.
- Specialized Agriculture Loading & Unloading: Manage specialized loading and unloading processes for the company's in-house made organic compost and delivery of liquid fertilizer materials, using belt trailers, side dumps, and dump trucks for safe operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, DVIR's and delivery paperwork.
Requirements
- License: Valid Class A CDL with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Endorsements: (T) Doubles is required Hazmat endorsement is a plus.
- Experience: 2 Year experience (Insurance Requirement)
- Availability: Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed to meet customers request .
