Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Fabric Cutter/Awning Material Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately cutting awning materials to fit custom frames, ensuring precision and quality in every piece.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut awning materials according to specified dimensions and customer requirements.
• Operate cutting equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
• Inspect materials for defects or imperfections and make adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer deadlines.
• Follow instructions and guidelines provided in work orders and architectural drawings.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, such as cutting fabric, upholstery, carpentry, or similar materials, preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in measurements and cuts.
• Proficiency in using cutting equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
• Ability to work in a warm climate.
