What You’ll Do
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of telehealth and teleconsultation programs and initiatives
- Monitor program plans, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery of program goals
- Coordinate with internal teams (IT, legal, finance, RHTP initiative leads) and external partners (vendors, providers, regional coalitions, stakeholders)
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract oversight, deliverable tracking, and performance management
- Oversee program governance, reporting, and documentation, ensuring alignment with organizational, state, and federal requirements
- Monitor program performance using data and stakeholder feedback; lead continuous improvement efforts
- Support the development of sustainability strategies, including funding models and operational integration
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management activities related to telehealth and teleconsultation initiatives
- Prepare briefings, reports, and presentations for leadership, partners, and oversight bodies as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, privacy, security, and quality standards related to telehealth and teleconsultation
- Support other related Rural Health Transformation activities, as requested
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in public health, health administration, informatics, information systems, or a related field
- 4 years demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs or projects
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships
- Proficiency with common productivity and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft O365, project management platforms, collaboration tools)
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple and fluid demands
- Ability to maintain effective and professional working relationships with internal and external customers
- Familiarity with telemedicine, telehealth, healthcare delivery systems, or digital health initiatives
- Master’s degree in public health, health administration, informatics, information systems, or a related field
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
- Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
