Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Asset Management Specialist responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise IT hardware and software assets. This full-time, onsite position is located in Boca Raton, FL. The specialist will ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures and manage the procurement and disposal processes to optimize spending and reduce costs. This position if full time and on-site .
What You'll Do
Maintain and accurately record all IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals
Track asset details such as serial numbers, purchase dates, locations, and assigned users
Perform regular asset audits to verify the accuracy of inventory records
Manage the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal, including decommissioning and recycling procedures
Ensure adherence to software license compliance and vendor agreements
Implement security protocols related to asset management
Collaborate with procurement teams to purchase and deploy new IT assets
Generate reports on asset utilization, cost analysis, and potential risks
Respond to user inquiries regarding asset allocation and usage
Provide training on asset management policies and procedures
What You'll Need
Required:
3 years of experience with ServiceNow IT Asset Management Module (ITAM)
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Proficiency with asset management software and tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of relevant compliance regulations
Experience in IT Operations and datacenter environments
Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred :
Certifications in Hardware/Software Asset Management (CHAMP, CSAM, etc.)
5-7 years of related experience
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
