POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting and supporting the Marketing department in all aspects of the Players Club, promotions, and business marketing activities. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Director of Operations and Marketing Manager to meet marketing and guest service objectives while ensuring the Sky’s The Limit Guest Service standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promotes the highest degree of guest service to both external and internal guests.
- Maintain an active presence on the casino floor and during promotions/VIP events to ensure guests are receiving a favorable gaming experience and build player loyalty.
- Works closely with the Player Development Manager and Marketing team in the development of monthly promotional calendars and coordinating VIP Events.
- Assists the Player Development Manager with theming, sourcing, and setting up of monthly promotional displays.
- Maintains database integrity, including data entry, pulling player data and database reports.
- Assists with coordinating direct mail and incentive programs through mail house and data input into player tracking system on a monthly basis based on approved promotional/direct mail calendars.
- Assists with marketing post formats following promotional events for tracking and analysis performance.
- Assists with the execution of monthly promotions.
- Must have strong understanding of how to evaluate guest play and ability to make decisions based on play.
- Manages a list of VIP Players to ensure that guests stay informed of all events and promotions, using channels of communication to increase trip frequency and maintain loyalty. Manages guest requests and owns all issues, resolving them quickly and following up to ensure the guest’s satisfaction.
- Awards guest complimentary offers based on gaming activity and program guidelines.
- Ability to book hotel reservations for Players Club Members as needed.
- Responsible for monthly competitive analysis and tracking competitors advertising and promotional offerings.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including various shifts as needed, holidays, weekends, and peak business times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Database administration and/or data entry experience.
- Proven proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and other Office programs.
- Ability to create and manage data in spreadsheets and reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and strong math skills.
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills and work ethics.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Cahuilla Gamin License and submit to random drug and/or alcohol testing.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

- If none of the applicants should meet the stated qualifications, applicants whose education and experience are less than the stated requirements, may be interviewed and hired provided the applicant hired submits a formal written training plan within (30) thirty days which can be completed within a “reasonable time” agreed upon by the supervisor and the applicant. Applicants who are hired and fail to meet the agreed upon formal training program, will be discharged upon failure to complete the specified training as so scheduled. A drug test will be required prior to employment and periodically thereafter.
