Cahoots NYC is a cozy, community centered café-by-day bar-by-night opening in the East Village. We are building a comfortable ambience aiming to promote human connection and the arts, which is built on high quality craftsmanship of our coffee, cocktails, and small bites.

This role is for a seasoned hospitality worker who is enthusiastic about the values behind Cahoots. The business will be opening in April 2026, and we will need dynamic team members who want to be a part of building the culture of Cahoots, have a knack for building a rapport with customers while delivering quality, and who hold themselves to a high standard. Cahoots’ leadership is dedicated to building strong relationships with our team and we want staff to come to work as themselves. This role would include both bartending, barista work, and light food prep.

We're building our team structure, and this role is intended to grow into an opener/closer and eventually floor manager position.

Requirements:

· 5 years of bartending and/or barista experience

· A personal resonance with the values of Cahoots (community-building, high quality coffee/cocktails, local food movement)

· Strong ability to build rapport with customers

· Team player, good communication skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, punctuality, can handle challenging customers

· Interested in team leadership

Compensation Details:

· $18/hour base plus tips

· Free coffee plus one staff beverage and menu item per shift

· Potential further benefits as business establishes itself, and depending on performance

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
