Overview
We're hiring an experienced, skilled, dependable, HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician to support two well-maintained apartment communities in Lake County: Atwater in Tavares and Bristol Park in Mount Dora. You'll be the go-to person for keeping our residents' homes safe, comfortable, and running smoothly. If you take pride in quality work, communicate well with residents, and like the variety that comes with multi-family maintenance, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Respond to and complete resident service requests promptly and professionally
- Diagnose and repair issues across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
- Complete apartment turnovers to make-ready standards (minor drywall, paint touch-up, fixture replacement, repairs)
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems and common areas
- Maintain pool area, breezeways, and grounds; assist with light landscaping as needed
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
- Document all work orders accurately and keep parts/supplies inventory organized
- Identify safety hazards and ensure work meets code and company standards
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of multi-family or apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair
- HVAC Certified
- Own basic hand tools
- Strong customer service skills and a respectful, professional demeanor with residents
- Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in attics/crawl spaces, and work outdoors in Florida weather
- Available for on-call rotation including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
Experience:
