SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Merchandiser are to process deliveries, rotate, restock, merchandise and build displays in assigned accounts by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent the company in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
- Restock cold boxes, displays, shelves and other areas where products are available for sale.
- Responsible for keeping back stock, cold box and displays rotated and in a clean and organized manner. Record both cases stocked as well as out-of-stock products using the VIP merchandising App.
- Responsible for adhering to out-of-date beer and product rotation policy.
- Adhere to company account and merchandising standards in all accounts.
- Maintain a friendly, working relationship with each account.
- Use relationships to identify account opportunities and communicate these to the merchandiser supervisor or sales consultant.
- Maintain a safe driving record and comply with company's policy.
- Visit each account on the days scheduled to meet the delivery or stock cold box. Perform weekend pull-up at specified times and following company policy.
- Adhere to dress code and be properly groomed.
- Attend all scheduled meetings and company functions as required.
- Confer with merchandising supervisor to resolve customer problems, address competitive activity, and take advantage of market opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships to foster teamwork and cooperation.
- Obey all federal, state, and local laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties require the ability to read, write and understand simple instructions. Requires an understanding of basic math, accuracy in checking, sorting, counting, and other routine procedures. A high school education is not required but would provide the basic skills necessary to learn the job.
