Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Handle food preparation and food handling tasks in accordance with food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and retail math to ensure accurate transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas
- Support food safety protocols and ensure all food industry regulations are followed diligently
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Strong sales skills coupled with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced café environment
- Previous experience in coffee or food industry roles is a plus
