Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented, experienced Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting café environment. Your expertise in coffee preparation and food safety will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
• Operate the Square POS system for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience required.
• 18 and over is required
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills required
• Required to work a Saturday and Sunday shift.
• Strong sales skills to promote menu items and drive revenue.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining individual accountability.
