Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system- Toast
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and basic kitchen tasks as needed
- Ensure guest safety by adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, fostering positive guest relations and ensuring repeat business
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service in both restaurant and nightclub environments
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems Toast
- Experience with culinary arts, food handling, sanitation, or food preparation is a plus
- Strong skills in customer service, upselling, time management, and guest relations are essential
- Previous roles may include host/host experience, bussing, or cashiering within the hospitality industry
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately are required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is important for maintaining high-quality service standards
