General description of the role
The factory / warehouse team at Caffe Panna are responsible for all operations in our warehouse that don't involve the making or selling of ice cream.
Responsibilities:
Organization of all storage areas including the walk-in freezer, walk-in refrigerator, dry goods room, disposables room and more
Take daily inventory of different food and disposable products
Set up workstation with required tools, equipment and supplies according to standards
Execute pack-outs of our nationwide shipping program
Receive and unpack all deliveries
Practice FIFO (First-In-First-Out) with all inventory items
Pack and hand-off catering and wholesale orders with accuracy
Work as a liaison with our back of house and front of house leaders and team members to ensure smooth execution of our production plans
Complete shift work (opening and closing checklists) thoroughly and efficiently accordance with standards
Maintain a clean and organized building including taking on any unplanned deep clean tasks
Manage proper storing temperatures according to DOH regulations
Follow proper rotation procedures according to DOH regulations
Maintain sanitation to Department of Health standards; Keep work area clean and organized
Log any deliveries that come into the building
Execute labeling of all ice cream containers in advance of our kitchen team needing them
Load ice cream into our logistics truck most days of the week
This list is not comprehensive and the role of this team is to help keep all projects within the building
Essential Functions:
Able to lift 50 pounds
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Works well in diffcult situations
Maintain a friendly, helpful and positive attitude at all times, towards the team and guests. It’s ice cream, after all.
Be a team player—support and assist your fellow team members whenever possible
Able to hold multiple responsibilities within the busy store operation

Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business
Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions

Attends mandatory staff meetings
Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards
Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times
Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Production Manager and Owner
