Position Summary
- The AM Manager leads all morning operations, including opening procedures, team management,
and customer experience during peak hours. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and strong
leadership in a fast-paced, regulated environment. The candidate must have or be willing to obtain IL Food Handler Cards or be willing to obtain it in 1 week of employment. Cafe77 does offer reimbursement payment for obtaining the certification.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute opening procedures accurately and on time
- Lead and manage morning shift staff
- Ensure operational readiness (inventory, prep, cleanliness, equipment)
- Maintain speed, accuracy, and service quality during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs
- Adhere to federal building policies and operational standards
- Handle customer interactions professionally
- Set the tone for team performance and professionalism
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience in café or high-volume food service
- Leadership or shift lead experience preferred
- Ability to pass a federal background check
- Strong reliability with early morning scheduling
