Bartender/Barback

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender/Barback to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a solid understanding of the food and beverage industry. This role requires a blend of bartending skills and barback responsibilities, ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service while maintaining an organized and efficient bar area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Assist in managing the bar inventory, restocking, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their experience.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food service for patrons at the bar or during events.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, food safety standards, and proper serving techniques.
• Support bartenders by preparing garnishes, cleaning glassware, and ensuring the bar area is well-stocked and organized.
• Adhere to all health regulations regarding food handling and safety practices.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or banquet services is a plus.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
• Previous experience in the food industry or retail math is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• minimum 2 years Bartender/ Barback experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $25.08 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
