About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a driven, hands-on Assistant Plant Manager (Evening Shift) to help lead operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. If you thrive in high-energy settings, enjoy solving problems in real time, and have a passion for building strong teams this could be your next move.
What You’ll Do
As a key leader on the evening shift, you will:
- Drive production performance to meet output, efficiency, and quality goals
- Troubleshoot equipment and operational challenges with strong mechanical aptitude
- Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams
- Lead and develop supervisors and team leads to elevate performance
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA, and USDA standards
- Champion food safety, quality, and workplace safety
- Support scheduling, planning, and preventative maintenance programs
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles
- Analyze KPIs (efficiency, downtime, yield, labor) to drive results
What You Bring
- 5 years of manufacturing experience (food industry preferred)
- 2–3 years in a leadership role within production
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with ERP systems and production planning
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
- Proven ability to develop SOPs and improve processes
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
