Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take coffee, beverage, and food orders accurately.
- Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other approved payments.
- Answer basic questions about menu items, pricing, beverages, and café offerings.
- Confirm order details and communicate customer requests clearly with café team members.
- Provide receipts and assist with dine-in, pickup, and takeout orders.
- Organize completed orders and help maintain smooth customer flow.
- Keep the register, counter, and customer-service areas clean and organized.
- Restock cups, lids, bags, napkins, utensils, and other café supplies.
- Assist baristas and coworkers with routine café duties during busy service periods.
- Support opening, closing, and other daily café responsibilities.
- Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
- Work cooperatively with team members to provide efficient customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, café, coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful.
- Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to customers.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
