What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook/Prep Cook position at Cafe Pierrot?
Cafe Pierrot is an established restaurant - caterer celebrating 30 years in Sparta, NJ. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Current opening is for a chef with a positive attitude & experience. part time or full time available. Must be a team player, but also able to work independently with the guidance of the head chef.
- Set up and stocking stations with necessary supplies for lunch and dinner
- Prepare food for service (e.g.heating soups, chopping vegetables, slicing meat, or preparing sauces)
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Flexible with shifts
- Culinary school training is a plus
- Serv Safe certified
- Has a passion for the industry
- Health benefits and all the locally roasted coffee you can drink.
- Saturdays a must, closed on Sunday
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
