Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including wine, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Manage cash handling and sales transactions accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other cashiering tools
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Clear tables promptly, bussing dishes as needed to maintain a clean dining environment
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu options to elevate the guest experience
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
• Maintain guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Demonstrated skills in customer service, guest relations, and sales techniques including upselling strategies
• Familiarity with wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, spirits experience, and food safety standards
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or other cashiering tools
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for order processing and billing accuracy
• Food handling certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is desirable
• Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not required
• Strong communication skills paired with a friendly demeanor to foster guest satisfaction

Pay: $22.96 - $27.65 per hour
