We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Implement sales strategies and marketing initiatives to increase store revenue
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development programs, and team management activities
- Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS system management
- Manage purchasing decisions and vendor relationships to optimize product availability and pricing
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized store environment
- Utilize effective communication skills for staff meetings, customer interactions, and vendor negotiations
Skills
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management, bookkeeping, and scheduling
