Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients according to established recipes
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and storage spaces throughout shifts
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations
