Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Barista. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality coffee beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our café.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coffee Preparation: Expertly prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty beverages, adhering to our recipes and quality standards. Use precision and care to grind, tamp, and extract espresso shots to perfection.
- Customer Engagement: Interact with customers in a friendly and engaging manner, taking orders accurately, providing recommendations, and ensuring each guest receives personalized attention. Strive to create memorable experiences and build rapport with regular patrons.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow baristas and café staff to coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient operations. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to fulfill orders accurately and promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
- Proficiency in latte art is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and develop latte art skills is essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact warmly and professionally with customers of all backgrounds.
- A passion for coffee and a desire to continuously expand your knowledge of coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
