Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items and beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and light meals
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and bar area according to health and safety standards
- Handle food with proper safety procedures, including food handling, storage, and sanitation
- Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards, utilizing knife skills and culinary techniques
- Serve customers efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Assist with catering events or special functions as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Ensure all food preparation areas comply with safety regulations and cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Background in food industry roles such as restaurant experience, fine dining, or catering is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Culinary experience including meal preparation, cooking, and menu planning required
- Proficiency in knife skills and food presentation techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve customers professionally
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
